How He loves us, He truly loves us and loves every single part of us. Even the parts of us we think unloveable. How deep His love goes and I read it recently that when He forgives, He even forgets that He forgave!!! 

Adriel passed his first test- Praise God! He had a written, oral, and hearing part. Already I've made another 300 flashcards for him for the next section and thinking there will be more. 
The kids have gotten used to their nature awareness class (the older two). They come home dirty, tired, but oh so happy. It gives me great joy to see other people invest and love my kids the way we do. What a huge blessing!
This area is full of surprises and treasures, they keep popping up as we go along. We got a date on Sunday (thanks to Zac and Claire!!!) and tried out a Thai place and it was amazing. It reminded us of the Thai place we used to eat at in Lubbock where we were first married. good memories!!! I still remember eating the spiciest green curry there trying to go into labor with Enoch- ha!

A special birthday

My eldest had a birthday and turned 9! 9 is a special number because research has shown that around that age, they can learn anything that you as an adult can. He loves to learn and loves to be read to or listen to audio books- his attention span can be quite focused! Sure love that boy, he has gone through so many moves and changes in our family and also, being the oldest, gone through everything first as the tester. His heart is strong and kind, his love is deep! A week of beginnings

May God bless the words of my mouth and the words I write on this blog. For purposes of the story tellings, everyone has a nickname for this blog. Papa and Mama, Warhawk, Hummer, Strongman, and Warrior. Those might change as we go as might a lot of things. but thats part of the journey, isn't it? and the adventure! Papa started his first week at language school and the first week was all about English grammar. The thinking that if you learn English grammar, then that will enable you to learn another language (more easily?). It was a weird thing for him to have homework again... We celebrated Warrior's 2nd birthday this week and it was really funny, as I had prepared a cake and frosted it (half vanilla and half chocolate) and everyone waited inside eagerly but he didn't want to come it- just wasn't interested. he was sitting outside just playing with some dirt. Finally we got him to come in, and as I lit each of the two candles, he blew them out- it was so funny! b

To see detailed hearts and what love will make us, I pray I can see what you see- despite all- behold in a moment what You see in a lifetime- deep drenching love, deep beyond it all. I pray also for my husband and kids- fire to burn away the crustiness, labels, and reveal eyes that see- through our hearts- can guide us to be the Jesus that He is to me.
